So close to goal, feels so far

I haven't been very active on the forums for the past few weeks since I left my office job. Now i am a stay at home mom and getting used to the new routine. I was steadily losing .5 lb per week for months and am now struggling. For one, I'm home with access to more food during the day. Although i prelog and exercise to make room for daily treats, there is still a lot of temptation. It's not as simple as "just don't buy it" as I can easily overeat "healthy" foods just as easily as the limited junk we have at home. But I'm working on sticking to my prelog and finding distractions when I'm tempted to eat otherwise.

The other issue is that I'm close to goal and short, so mfp only gives me 1200 calories for less than .5 lb per week. I workout to earn 100-300 more but still am
Feeling a little defeated at how little I get to eat, especially on days when i can't fit in a long enough workout to earn major calories. I hate to slow down to even less than .5 lb a week but I think that's the only sustainable way at this point.

  • This forum is for people with a goal of gaining weight. You will probably get more help if you post in proper section.

have you tried different ways of eating? Like getting in some more fats. it may fill you up. There are tactics out there you could try like adding in fats, proteins, fibre ect :) You can do it! Sometimes a nice hot drink helps, i like milo.

Mfp calories count ain't the best as the don't consider activity level. Use iifym.com I get much better results there.

Sorry, I must have picked the wrong drop down selection for the forum.
