Hi I have just found this fab site, wish I had found it sooner its helping me to get motivated.

Hoping to chat with others who are trying to get healthy, been overweight my whole life and at last I am feeling closer to the person I want to be
Bought a bike yesterday to try to help with the fitness thing and yes I ACHE lol

    Well I've been watching what I eat for ages with no luck. So thought logging everything might help only started today.

    I started just a week ago and I think it does help quite a lot, I was losing my motivation to keep going and it seems better doing it with this, especially with there being an exercize part because you can see the difference it makes to the amount of cals you can eat and still lose - just my opinion of course :)

  • Hi Julia - how long did it take for you to loose the 3 stone? I have just started as I need to lose over 4 stone. Well done though

    I have been working on losing it for about 9 months I think, I may have lost more than three stones because one day I decided I had to get weighed as all my clothes were too tight so I got on the scales and literally leapt off when it went round to 15 stones I was so shocked that I didnt look at the pounds and quite honestly I didnt dare get back on for several weeks after dieting. I am now about 11st 11 ish

    I think if you aim for one or two pounds loss a week that is plenty and anything else is a bonus though Im pretty sure I lost it a lot faster than that at the start
