hello my name is Marie Castro and I am a newbie to being a runner, I have been running with the Irving running club since July and a friend of mine mentioned this up to me still learning how to use the app itself my goal is to be on a 1200 cal diet and to lose 10 to 15 pounds I also enjoy going to the gym and I work for the YMCA my first run will be the turkey trot, look forward to meeting some of you all I hope

Hi Marie, feel free to add me as a friend. I'm Cath, I am in Australia, currently training for a half marathon in December. I have been using MFP for a couple of years and it keeps me on track, I try to stay between 1200-1500 cals, have achieved my goal weight but really want to maintain because I worked so hard to get to where I am!
