recovering from major injury anyone else?

In June of 2013, I had the unfortunate luck of finding ice in June in Texas... Insert Murphy's Law here and let's just say I lost the use of my right leg for over 13 months. During that time I managed to put a cap on my weight gain. One Knee Reconstruction later and being informed that the leg would never work the same again, I was told to let go of my dreams of going back to my old life. Unfortunately when you tell me I can't do something, I tend to piss you off and find a way to do it. So now, 36 months ahead of schedule on my recovery estimates, I am pushing through to make my life mine again. In the process I am turning my anger and frustration into rays of sunshine and looking for others to support and encourage to take back their lives. Good Luck to everyone on here and let me know if you need a kind word, diet help, or just some one to give you a push. I am your gal!!

Congratulations on being ahead of schedule and getting your life back, this speaks volumes about your determination. I am also recovering of a minor knee injury (probably peanuts compared of what you had to endure) that has been keeping me away of running for almost a month, and your post is definitely inspirational. Good luck...0
