Back after a long hiatus.

Hello, I'm from the UK and I like using my online alias Rolls or Rollsworth
Currently back after a long hiatus after I gave up the demanding keto diet before Christmas. I don't knock it, it lost me almost 1 stone and a half, But counting every carb you eat and walking around Tescos scanning every can of food you can find for the magic miracle food was difficult. I am currently on intermittent fasting and flexible dieting.
I hope to keep it up to the end of the year so when the new year starts I don't have to break into that magical "New years regulations" myth where everything will be better in the new year.
Learning how to eat smarter should be something what gradually blends into your life and lets you make smarter choices. Learning that a massive bowl of pasta is almost 1000 carbs shocked me and now I am more aware of portion sizes and what other foods need to be eaten in moderation thanks to this App and website.
If anyone on any diet wants to add me feel free to, I like seeing what everyone is doing. I even add food what goes way over my macros because thats how I learn, I can't escape a bad diet with My fitness pal.

Welcome back
Congratulations on your loss on the Keto diet - I don't know anything about that particular plan but if it's not sustainable for you, it's definitely time to move on. The one thing that has genuinely worked for me is the simple calorie deficit method. I'm eating whatever I want (and I'm an enormous fan of carbs) but working it around my allowance. I don't feel deprived and it genuinely feels like something I can keep up long term.
Wishing you the best of luck!0
