Do you find the macro info in food on here accurate?

as it says really. My dh has spent ages doing our menus and using the info on the foods (via the shops website) to get us a good balance of macros
40-50% protein, 30-40% carbs, 20% fat goals. Then comparing the foods he's put in to make sure we're within those goals. Yet everyday mfp has much lower protein, and much higher carb and fat as compared to dh's meal plan. So how accurate is/do you find mfp is on the foods info?
Sorry if I'm being dumb.

40-50% of your calories from protein is insanely high. Are you part T-Rex?
And yes, the listings on here are accurate if you use the barcode scanner, weigh your foods, cross reference the entries, and use common sense.0 -
Thank you both. That made me laugh - T. rex
I'll cross check and reduce protein then!
Cheers
