I've got them all figured out and what not, now I just need help actually meeting them. I'll eat throughout the day as one should, but I find it hard to get the right amount or protein/fat/carb (and sugars- sometimes I go overboard without noticing). I'm a vegetarian, so I'm going to buy some more protein dense staples like beans, lentils and soy, but how do I balance all this stuff out?

After I log each meal and I see how I'm tracking. That way, I'll know for the next meal, I need to focus on protein or more carbs. Forget sugar. Don't track that, unless you need to medically.
So I should just looks at eat meal and adjust accordingly? Being a veggie requires me to eat a few more carbs than one should, I think.

Plan your meals ahead and stick with it once your macros are where you want them to be. I'm guessing protein will be a tough one, so maybe supplement protein powder in your day.

Yes. I do the same. Checking after every meal is a bit obsessive, but it helps my confidence level. Also, don't track sugar because a couple servings of fresh fruit totally throws off my sugar and that isn't fair, because fruit is healthy!

I use the pie charts on the iPhone app to help keep the macros in order. Not every day's going to be perfect, but I can use the weekly view to make up for an imbalance here and there.

I like the online form better meal planning, and I will choose meals ahead of time that line up with my macros perfectly, but when I can't plan ahead, the pie charts are a quick way to make sure I'm not too far off my goals. So I check them after every meal when I haven't pre-planned: takes an extra 3 seconds since I have to go into the app to log the food anyway.

Also, why would you need more carbs if you're vegetarian? It might be *easier* to consume more carbs, but your overall body functions (like muscle repair) should work just like everyone else's do. (And I'm saying that with all sincerety -- I've never heard anyone say that vegetarians need more carbs and I have no idea why that should be the case from a physiological point of view.)
