I'm trying to shake up my routine and add in exercise and eliminate pop from my diet. Not that I have not tried before but never had much luck. I need help, more buddies, more support of people going through the same. I'm 250 lbs and 5'3"........I need to get fit for me, I want to feel good. I just started a 30 day ab challenge, the exercises are challenging and part of me believes I will fail but part of me knows I can do it.

You can do this. Believing in yourself is a great step in this journey. Feel free to add me as a friend

When I start back, I try to focus on my exercise and just cutting out processed foods. When I set exercise goals, I notice that I more naturally make healthier choices with my food. Try not to severely restrict and punish yourself but ease into it. Find delicious new recipes to try and make it as enjoyable as you can to try and stick with it. Good luck!

I agree- make it enjoyable- the food, the exercise, and everything about it. It's a new way of life so don't think of it as a diet or temporary- live it- don't diet. Take one day at a time and try to be consistent with logging and planning and it will become a habit. Read the success stories forums for inspiration. They are great.
