Starting walking program?

Is there a guide on starting a walking program? I went to the gym today and started slow for the first five min or so and then upped the speed and incline for the next 20 and then declined speed and incline again for the last ten min. I am wondering if there is a guide I can use to help me over time. Thanks

    Not to be rude or obvious, but just walking every day outside for some fresh air and you'll improve drastically. Just hydrate before hand, make sure you pee before you go, and bring some inspiring music :). good luck
