Hi all

I am not so much a newbie, but very much a lurker. I have been using mfp for a few years on and off, along with slimming world.

I have given slimming world the boot as I was paying my lovely consultant every week for her to tell me exactly what I knew. I am a compulsive weigher, every morning is my ritual, slimming world told me not to weigh and it got me more anxious every week. It is my only addiction :)

I have now logged my meals and exercise for 32 days and it is going well. I can see progress on my weight as it tells me my weekly loss, although I still weigh every day lol

I am also counting calories and it is amazing when you log it where you can use them wisely. I have also joined our local leisure centre and am taking full advantage of the facilities, I am out doing something every night after work, whether it be a class or lane swimming. I have found a new lease of life and I have much more energy at home and more concentration in work.

    Hi Tracy :)

    If weighing daily works for you then continue doing what you're doing. Personally, it wasn't for me as I tend to become a bit hung up on the number but you seem to be doing fantastically well! Congratulations on your loss so far :D

    Thank you :) will try and be a bit more of a poster on here as I can vent with no "friends or family" seeing everything I do :)
