I started to tan this year for the first time (by accident). After 40 years of glowing in the dark, I'm surprised that it was even possible. I'm pretty sure I'm going to explode.

I used to hate being so blindingly white too. :grumble:
Until I got the tattoo's on my leg. Now the white skin shows off all of the pretty colors in my tattoo and I am ok with the whiteness.

I should be able to pull that off with my body hair in a few years. I still have patches that need to thicken on my back and abs.

I used to hate having pasty-white glow-in-the-dark skin, until I moved the the middle east/gulf region and discovered that it was full of beautiful, olive-skinned women who wanted to be as pale as me.

fact is in the west, they sell pale skinned women sunbeds, fake tan and tanning lotion and the idea that olive/tanned skin is better

in the east they sell olive and brown skinned women skin lightening lotions and creams, and the idea that pasty-white skin is better

That was a wake-up call. Now I appreciate what I've got. All skin colours are beautiful.

I'm super pale and my tattoos are so bright people always say something. besides that and my good credit score are the only perks of being white to me.
