I find myself doing great, logging food for around 4-5 days, get a craving for something sweet and basically ruin my progress what should I do ?! Thinking about a donut.

Calculate in a weekly indulgence, have what you planned, and thin out your calories the rest of the week to account for it.

I go out every weekend, and I can see it on my chart, but it doesn't affect the long term picture.

I have a horrible sweet tooth. What I did was cut out flour (gluten free) which has helped my joints not be so sore. That's stopped me from eating cakes and cookies, breads and pies. But, I really love candy and ice cream too. I log it if I eat it.

I let myself have a Magnum double chocolate caramel ice cream bar once s week. I can't do moderation do I don't fave sweets in the house and can restrain from buying it because I'm good about logging calories and sweets use up a ton of my available calories to eat in s day.

@brookestallings as an old man hooked on sweets I kept giving into sweets for many years. With failing health last year I finally swore off of foods containing sugars and or grains. A year later the cravings for something sweet and hunger in general are still gone and better health is returning. I do hope you find your answer while you are still young. Best of success.

@fiddletime makes explicit a point that I assumed by noting that "I go out every weekend". It is very helpful, perhaps even critical, that sweet things not be within easy reach. There's a huge difference between a fridge full of veggies and a fridge with cheesecake in it.

Think about what you will look like if you keep eating sweets...think about how much longer it'll take you to reach your goal. Junk food fills you up for a minute...think about what is in that food...think about what the inside of you looks like lol. I was addicted to sweets really really bad, I have been eating a few sweets the last few days but eating it is not worth it...you need a strong will power. Don't let your mind take over. Eat fruits but nodon't go crazy because of the sugar and carbs but it'll help you pass the addiction eventually depending on how strict you are. I usually quit cold turkey :)
