Hiya folks, I have been using mfp on and off for about a year and a half now and have gone from a size 24-26 down to a 14-16 doing mostly sensible eating and cardio. I am looking to start heavy lifting and would really appreciate some female friends who could offer inspiration and advice. I have a local small gym where I can do my running but I want to get a small amount of weight equipment at home as I don't like to work out in front of other people.

I'd be happy to friend you and encourage you! I can't use the programs that get raves around here, because I have a chronic pain/nerve problem with my back, and my knees are abnormal, too, lol. But I do heavy (for me) isolation lifts and do the lower body pretty normally.
So most of our lifts will be different, but I'd be happy to cheer you on!0 -
thanks for that, I'll add u0
