Walking shoes

I am looking for good and affordable and quite nice looking shoes for lots of walking. I do between 8 and 15km of walking per day and my gym trainers are way too bright for everyday (wearing to social things etc). Has anybody come across any good shoes? I have sketchers walking shoes but although they have thick soles they have little arch support which makes my feet slip toward there middle between my legs.

I wear Merrell Moab Ventilators for walking, most comfortable shoe I've ever worn and not gaudy. Durable soles too, I get about 1000 miles from a single pair.0

if you are considering putting on mileage-maybe go to a running store and get properly fitted. be sure to let them know what your goals are.0
