The whole truth and nothing but the truth

Just putting this out there, I lie about my food to my family and friends and to myself at times. I don't tell anyone what I weigh and don't feel ready to change that yet. I'm 37 years old, 5 2 and weigh 304 lb. It would be nice to have some friends on here who are taking the same journey as me and who I don't feel like I need to lie to. I feel good about my journey and feel the need to start being open about my weight. Add me if you wish.

Once you start being honest about your eating habits, you'll be able to face the issue. I hope you find MFP useful. You'll find a lot of support here. Wishing you the very best of luck :)

Start by being courageous and vulnerable. Putting ourselves out there and getting hurt from time to time is what helps build a fuller life. Dare greatly.

you are enough. This is not a contest to be perfect or judge each other. The kinder you are to yourself the less you will judge yourself and feel like you need to lie.

You've taken the first step, your here ! That's good news !

Now just start by getting honest with yourself. Weigh every food you consume today, and log it here ( Use a food scale , it helps a lot to be as accurate as possible)
Then once you see how much your really consuming, you can cut back from there. But this only works if your honestly logging the correct weights of each item.

Best of luck to you !
