MFP has set me at 1290 a day. I do my workouts and (according to MFP) burn a little over 350 calories. I do my workouts first this in the morning, before I eat anything (I get nauseous very easily). Do I eat these back or do I leave them as my deficit???

I'd recommend start with eating back half and seeing how your loss goes.

MFP already calculates a deficit. However, I've also found that MFP tends to overestimate calorie burn, so I'd recommend starting by eating back 250 calories and see how you do (if you find after several weeks you're feeling rundown with no energy, you may be under eating for your activity level, if you find you're losing too slowly, try reducing the amount you eat back to around 50%).

The general consensus is to eat back 50 or 75% of those calories. The database is inflated on the exercise calories burned. But if you find you are dropping weight too quickly eat back all of them.

The app is designed for you to eat those calories, so try eating them for a few weeks and see how it goes. It's the easiest way. If you don't lose anything, try eating back half of them.

You should try to eat as much as you can while still losing weight. You may want to cut calories back, later, and you'll want to have some to cut!

I set MFP to sedentary and I wear a heart rate monitor for cardio exercises. I eat most, not all of my calories back and I have managed to successfully maintain my weight for nearly a year now.
