Trying this out again

So I'm trying out this calorie counter thing again, as I'm trying to lose a bit of weight and get in shape for some upcoming races and for when I get out of the Navy. I guess having a Fitbit is really doing something to me.

About me: I'm a runner, looking to get back into swimming so I can start training for my first triathlon. I also lift weights on a semi-regular basis, but no matter how hard I worked out, I couldn't seem to get under 185 and lose these man-boobs and muffin top.

Anybody else have that problem?
