31's? That must be vanity sizing, right? and "slight"-ed

I found a pair of desiel jeans at G'will for five bucks but they were 31 waist. I tried them on and they fit. The button closed right up. I've been wearing 34's for most of the last ten years, I figured I'd be a 32 by now, but 31? That's like high school territory. I tried a different 31" today and they even seemed big.

I'd better stop buying clothes until I hit my goal. Who knows where I'll end up?

Also, I was "slight"-ed. I walked into a running store near my work that caters mostly to women and was talking to the sales lady and asked if they had stuff for men too, and she said that " a lot of men who are slight, like you, and I mean that in a good way, wear shirts in women's sizes because they fit their shape better, most men's shirts are too boxy."

100 days ago she would not have called me slight. I liked being "slight"-ed.
