If your looking for something just for exercise, then you want a heart rate monitor. Something like a Polar FT4.
Fitbit's are full day activity trackers. The calorie burn they display is your BMR + daily activity from midnight to whatever point in the day you are looking at it. When synced to MFP, it adjusts your calories based on what your full day calorie burn is; so if you only wear it during exercise, it's calorie burn will be really off and you either won't get an adjustment or will get a large negative one (losing calories to eat that you should have had).
Other than that, just pick the one that fit's within your budget and has features you want.0 -
I have a Fitbit Surge and absolutely love it! But like Shadow2soul said just pick one with the features you want and fit your price range.
Good luck!0 -
Which Fitbit you choose is a matter of personal preference: https://www.fitbit.com/compare They all calculate your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) and sync with MFP. Fitbit challenges are great motivation—and fun.
