Hi all! I've been using MFP for a few months. As someone who has been sedentary for too many years, my main goals have been building my strength & balance while retraining my brain to eat a more healthy & moderate diet. I think that the things that keeps me going in this are the 'small steps' I've achieved along the way. Most are silly little things like being able to run on the elliptical without having to hold on for balance or each little 5 minutes increase that I can make in my cardio workouts (without feeling the urge to give up for the day).
I won't promise to visit the boards often, but I'm sure I will occasionally.
