Calorie Question

Using fit bit do set at sedentary do you go by net calories to determine if you are eating enough. I know some people had said as long as not adding exercise to counter fit bit calculations are pretty accurate so eat calories back. So sorry just a little confused for example MFP calorie goal 1390 daily for 2lb loss.
Wen. Net calories: 1068 Total calories: 1501
Thur. Net Calories: 697 Total Calories 1593

So do I need to increase my net calories to reach the 1390 which is goal for 2lb loss or am I okay?
I just don't wan to have a crazy high deficit and hinder weight loss and lose anymore muscle mass than I have to. When I was just adding a 30minute walk/2.5mph pace I rarely ate those calories back due to fact the burn was probably overestimated. Now that I have the fit bit I am moving a lot more. It varies daily depending on sciatica severity though so I would like to know what I should eat. Thanks everyone sorry if question is stupid just thought 697 net seemed really low.

The app gives you a "calories remaining" number, the aim is to hit zero.

    Currently mine says 1320 goal - 532 food + 148 exercise (Fitbit) = 936 remaining.

Your net should be 1390 in your case to maintain the original deficit.

So I should get my net calorie intake back to 1390 to maintain original 2lb per week loss? Because lower than 1390 net would be a greater deficit so that would be where I am not consuming enough calories and risk losing muscle mass instead of fat? Am I correct? Thanks so much this was my thinking but I am new to all of this and really would like to stay on track this time.

Just didn't want to make a mistake and do the wrong thing and mess up what was working so well before I started using fit bit. I love the fit bit because it helps to motivate the exercise part of the equation just don't want to sacrifice the weight loss part.

Your Fitbit burn is TDEE (total daily energy expenditure), the calories necessary to maintain your current weight.

    Connect your accounts at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/fitbit

Set your goal to .5 lb. per week for every 25 lbs. you're overweight: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/change_goals_guided

    Enable negative calorie adjustments: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings

In the MFP app, go to More > Steps and choose Fitbit.

Ignore your Fitbit calorie goal and follow MFP's, eating back your adjustments. No need to log any step-based activity—your Fitbit is tracking it for you. Log non-step exercise (like swimming or biking) either in Fitbit or in MFP—never both. Exercise logged in MFP overwrites your Fitbit burn during that time.
