Hey guys, I'm back in the game! I've been going several years on and off, but this time I've been at it for 8 months and still going strong! It's going to stick for life this time.

I started MFP in January of 2013 with a serious desire to get healthy. I always had the desire, but my dedication to the process has wavered back and forth. Following a brief stint of health of both me and my family, my dedication was renewed, and it has stuck this time. I have been going strong with my new lifestyle for 8 months or so, and haven't slacked one time!

I'm here to stay this time, so feel free to hit me up and add me as a friend!

For a more detailed version of what I've been going through the past two years, check out my recent blog post to get to know me a little better:

My name is Richard, I go by Ric. Great Koorii! I am of age where losing weight is very difficult due to health, low T, thyroid missing, and sedentary that is changing and genetics that holds onto fat. I have to have exercise that really hits my body but currently must work up to it! I have little to no will but when I see change i really get charged, I am glad you have a support in your family. Mine is a social eating so it gets very difficult to be strong and still feel social. Keep up the pace, and look forward to that thin physique!

Hi there ...I can relate .... I lost 78lbs back in 09/2010 tragedy and life in general got in my way ...I gave up and deleted my old account ...Needless to say I gained everything back and then some ....came back in Jan of this year was going strong lost 36 lbs ....then tragedy struck again I lost 4 people in a 3 months span..I didn't leave MFP but I wasn't logging my food or working out in that time needless to say I gained 30 of the 36 back ...In August I said to myself the 4 people that I lost wouldn't want me to give up on myself so I started carb cycling and working out and I have lost 15lbs ....Feel free to add me ...Wishing you much success :)
