As I closed out my day I was glad to see I had 5 calories left
But you know how it says if you have another day like this you will weigh this in 4 weeks or 5 weeks? Well it said I was going to weigh more than what it said last night at the end of the night. That's confusing to me to stay under calories and then the weight not go down but up under MFP planning.

Your combination of exercise and calories yesterday was probably a little less than today. It's just an estimate to help keep motivated. But EVERY day will not be exactly like "today", so you'll see changes from day to day. It's ok.0

Can't see your diary so it's impossible to help. But the "if every day is like today..." message uses the specific deficit for the day, so if you ate less yesterday or exercised more yesterday you'd get radically different numbers. The timeframe is 5 weeks, so a difference of a single slice of bread (100 kcals) would be 700*5 = 3500 kcals = 1 pound.
It really takes so little to add up to so much.
