New here and don't know where to start.

Hi everyone. I've done weight watchers and lost on that 10 years ago, but I really don't want to count points again :/ I do like having a place I can come to for inspiration and guidance. I hope MFP is that!

I'd like to lose about 30 lbs and I don't know where to start! The last 15 lbs I've gained very quickly with meds I'm taking. I've gone to the doctor and switched to another kind, but I know the weight gain is from eating out of control!

I get confused on what "healthy eating" really is. There are so many different viewpoints on the subject. I think I'd like to go the moderate way. I don't want to feel like I'm on a diet- I'd like to change my eating habits and include healthier foods more and less unhealthy ones. Low carb is not the way I'd like to lose.

Any suggestions or friendships will be welcomed!
