Need to get back to serious logging vent

Venting: since my transition from an office job to being at home 4 weeks ago I completely stopped losing weight. Too much temptation (at work I only had the option of what I brought from home) and admittedly I've been lazy with estimating some meals and snacks. My exercise level is the same.

I know I need to tighten up my logging and there's no excuse for the laziness. As it is I was already only losing .5 lb per week since I'm close to goal. I don't want to drag the last 10 lbs out forever so I just need to get serious about logging everything correctly again (weighing everything and stop taking extra bites of food and then guessing how much it is since I'm clearly not a good estimator!)

Thanks for listening.

    I've adjusted my calories so that I lose 0.5 per week instead of 1-2 - purely so I can eat a little more! I am around 10lbs from goal and I'll need to start transitioning into 'maintenance' at some stage, so by gradually increasing the calories (and therefore slowing the losses) I'll find it a lot easier :]

    Also, this is not a race. You'll get there when you get there. Do it realistically! Best of luck!

    Thank you. Being so short always within 40 lbs of goal I've ONLY been using a .5 lb weekly loss the whole time. That makes this last leg hard because there isn't much wiggle room. I'm going to tighten up my logging but if I need to take a month to lose a pound instead of weeks , so be it. A month ago I was hoping to be at goal shortly after New Years but that doesn't seem realistic now.

    Well. You recognize what caused the problem and you know what you have to do about it. Good start. Now get to it. :)

    @jaga13 Well Done you!!!!

    What incredible insight and personal responsibility....you have identified your issues and are really on the ball about fixing them. <3

    Such a refreshing change in some of the attitudes expressed IRL and on MFP. Your goals are spot on and you have realistic expectations....so cool.

    You have done so well and will continue to shine....Of this I have no doubt. ;)

    All the best for your continued success.
