Trying to figure out what's going on here. I trained for and ran a 5k on mothers day, my weight stabilized around 220, and now I'm training for a 10k, here's my dilemma. I seem to be going backwards not forwards, I was ill a couple of weeks ago and I think that set me back a bit. Ran a 5k recently and sucked hard on it, now I'm finding I have absolutely zero energy and I seem to be losing ground, getting weaker rather than stronger, and it's frustrating as hell. Anyone have any insights as to why this is happening?

Your diary isn't public, so I can't make a direct observation, but a few things come to mind. You could possibly need to eat more, increase your iron intake, and you may need to take a few rest days.0
