No time for gym and I'd like a routine.0

Are you a beginner weight lifter?
Most of the DVD that I know of are cardio mixed, and are for beginners using light dumb bells.
Chalean Extreme does focus on a good mix of cardio and strength using dumb bells, going as heavy as you can.
If you are looking to do heavy strength training, you would be better off getting a good book, of internet based program. Most that I've seen recommended are Starting Strength, Stronglifts 5x5. I'm sure there are others.
DVD might be a good way to start, but reality is, you can only go so far with them.0 -

There's a difference between leaving your house and doing a workout on your own time I believe.

Wow how nasty has this site gotten. I totally get why a DVD is easier than the gym. A DVD can be done at any time night or day without having to leave the house and worry about gym opening times and childcare etc.0 -

You could try one of the beginner programs like stronglifts. I don't believe they have a DVD but it's a program you could follow on your own time.0 -
Take a look at body beast ...their program is based on strength training. P90x is another but it's a mix of cardio and strength.0
