hey! i'm izzy, a 5'8" teen who weighs 183 lbs. recently i found a scale and weighed myself (while the reality was harsh, i thought i weighed 200-ish so it's not as bad) and found out my bmi is 27. jeez.
i mean, i know bmi is sketchy at best, but still on a vague range it's jarring. looking to lose around 30-40 pounds around the school year? for now i'll just focus on the first ten, and see where that gets me.
the trouble is that my house doesnt have a scale, so i can't keep myself updated on my own weight, nevermind the app! i hope i can find a way. stay safe everyone!

You can do this, I promise :]
Your local doctor surgery should have a scale that you can use for free - some health stores also provide the use of a scale. Make sure you weigh yourself at the same time each week on the same scale for an accurate reading. I think breaking your goal into smaller increments like you have is going to be a fantastic way to staying on track! Take this process one pound at a time and stay positive. You really can do anything you set your mind to.
Best of luck!0
