Hello my name is Heather. :)
I have been making efforts to change my lifestyle.
I have depression and axiety...when I look after myself I feel much better.
But I've been struggling lately so I've gone on medication to aid me through this difficult time for me.
I'm 22 years old..normally bubbly and very energetic in the mornings. I seem to lack will power to work out in the late afternoons.
I just moved house and I no longer live near family or friends. So it would be great to have some support.
Thanks for you time...Take care. :)

    Hi Heather :]
It's good to see you here and well done for your efforts so far. I assure you, you aren't alone. There are a lot of MFP users that are also on medication for similar reasons to you (me being one of them) and I can assure you, you can get through this and reach your goals regardless. You'll find so much support and advice here which will hopefully make this process so much easier for you to grab with both hands. You are in control, remember.
Wishing you the very best of luck.

Hi Heather, i also suffer with anxiety and find some days very difficult. I found regular exercise has helped me tremendously and also losing weigh has made me feel better about myself which in turn gives me more confidence and helps my anxiety in certain situations. I always try and save myself some calories each day for a little treat then i dont feel like im missing out too much

Hi Heather, I also suffer (I hate that term) with depression and anxiety. It adds another layer to losing weight but I find it best to take it day by day and ride the wave on positive days and be ready on myself on the tough days. I have a lot of weight to lose and other goals like not getting a family history of diabetes and thyroid issues, so gaining more energy is huge for me. You are not alone. Definitely get involved with the community and make friends. For me that's been the key to staying motivated and hopeful. Good luck :-)
