Hi want to lose weight bit nervous how to go about it would like some help and guidance please

Plug in your height, weight, age, gender, activity level in MFP....then select a weekly weight loss goal (see below).
Pound per week goals
75+ lbs set to lose 2 lb range
Between 40 - 75 lbs set to lose 1.5 lb range
Between 25-40 lbs set to lose 1 lb range
Between 15-25 lbs set to lose 1 -.50 lb range
Less than 15 lbs set to lose 0.5 lbs range
MFP will give you a calorie goal to MEET. Measure (or weigh) portions.....log everything. If you exercise MFP will give you more calories.*** These calories are an estimation. Eat a portion of those calories too.

My approach is lifestyle change. Losing weight is step 1........maintaining my new weights (step 2) is forever. I won't eliminate any food that I don't plan on eliminating forever.0 -
