I need encouragement!

It's so easy for me to get down on myself, and then I turn to bad food!

    Welcome to MFP. There are no "bad" foods, there are just sometimes, too much of "a" food. Good luck with your goals!

    I know what you mean. Sometimes I find myself mindless eating when I get home from work. I have learned to try and control it. I stop and think and ask my self do I really need this? Is this worth my hard work being in vein?

    Don't deprive yourself - we have seen time and time again that deprivation always equals binge eating further down the line. Eat a little of what you love in moderation. Moderation is key - moderation is something you'll learn. Take it one day at a time. Best of luck!
