You'd be good with anything by the Graphic Audio production company. Their audiobooks have actors for each character, sound effects, and are high quality. They are a lot more like a radio play than an audio book. They also do long series, which works for me because I listen to audio books all day at work. I've been listening to their stuff for over a year now, and am currently on Deathlands #100.0

Thank you for your suggestions!
I think I'll go with Diane Gabaldon's books. It's more my kind of stories.
Stephen King scares me a lot. And the Graphic Audio books are mostly fantasy, also not my kind of stories.
But thanks anyways!0 -
I am also looking for a good audio book. I've read revival and the outlander series. Fantasy may not be my thing, either. Suggestions, anyone?0

I like listening to John Grisham books on audio. John Beck is an awesome reader.
Also like James Lee Burke - Will Patton is a great reader.0
