Lunch Crock Pot

I recently found out about the lunch crock made by Crock Pot. It seems really great but I wanted to see if others had a positive experience before I go crazy and get one. I do not have a public microwave available to me at work and I am debating if I should get a microwave or if the crock would fulfill my needs. I do like to eat soup and leftovers for lunch, so it sounds as if it would do well with those. I would buy several inserts so do meal prep ahead. I really live on leftovers and I attribute that to my 60 pound success and now that I am in an environment where that's difficult, I am missing my leftover lunches but I want to be sure I consider the cons first. I'd love feedback!

Have two. Love them! Worth the money. Walmart online has a two pack.

I have one and love it...use it very often in the winter (not so much in the summer). That said, do NOT count on the insert/lid sealing to prevent leaks. After the first use, the seal no longer is 100% and will leak if you use the insert/lid for transport. I always bring my food in a different, leak-proof container, and transfer it to the insert in the morning. :)

Because you like hot food and because of no public microwave, you could buy a small crock pot to re-heat your food at work.

I was given one of the lunch crock pots a few years ago. It works well for things like soup, but at a higher temperature than a regular crock pot. I usually bring the food in another container unless it is thick.
