back after several months away

My hubby gave me a fitbit for Christmas and I loved my flex. Right up until it stopped working. It was replaced by their wonderful customer service. That one also stopped working so they sent yet another. When that one stopped I returned the original to where my hubby purchased it. Again after 6 weeks it stopped working. Bright idea, I tried to charge on my laptop instead of desk top and it worked, for about 3 months. Now none of them work either by being charged on the laptop or desktop. Too bad because when they did they were great. So, I am back to the pedometer and myfitnesspal. I wish there were a way that this site counted steps so, even if I did log in the steps my calories were counted.
