A new start

I've tried things like this before with some success. My problem is I tend to lose focus due to lack of accountability and encouragement. I end up with a lot of I'll work out tomorrow or I'll just eat out this one time and quickly fall back into lots of tomorrows and eating out because it's easier. I'm hoping to find some friends on here who can help me keep with it.

    Welcome to MFP! I've been MFPing for only a little over a month, but it works - if you do. Hardest part - being honest with myself. And trying to be accurate with logging (just bought a digital scale).

    We are all familiar with the "I'll start tomorrow" attitude whilst scoffing a chocolate bar! :]
    I promise it can be turned around. Take me for example, I have the biggest appetite ever - I absolutely love food and I could happily sit and devour an entire pizza and an entire box of donuts. I wouldn't even classify that as a binge yet with the help of MFP (and of course my own desire to be healthy) I have managed to have a little bit of what I love but keeping to a sensible calorie deficit. I don't feel deprived and I know I'm going to stay on track. You have to believe in yourself and really want to succeed - once you do that, you will go far. Of course, there are also so many supportive people here so don't be afraid to reach out. Good luck!
