Jump in scales day after exercise

just had my first weigh in the day after my first personal training session and have put on 2 kilos! Quite disheartened because I've managed to stay below 70 for 6 months and now gone back to 71. Has anyone else noticed weight gain after exercise?

Yes, it's probably water retention. Your muscles hold water when they are recovering. Especially if they are new work-outs. I step on the scale every morning and usually am heavier the day after a work out!0
