Starting on my weightloss journey. Not sure how to go about it after many tries and stumbles. Thought I'd start with MFP to get a grip on what I'm eating. Anyone have any suggestions let me know

MFP is the best tool I've ever used for weight loss :]
It's also kept me positive and motivated - which is key to the process.

You can do this. Good luck!

Me too! Doesn't matter how many times we fall just as long as we get back up!

Hi there, I also started 1 week ago, finding it good so far . I like I know what I am eating and seeing when to stop when reached daily intake. I am a nightshift worker going about scanning ppl food lol.Its encouraged me to exercise more if I do want that piece of cake go walk with my dog or jump on my treadmill , even the dreaded housework surprising how much you use doing it so win win situation dogs are happy Iam happy and house sparkling ha ha . good luck on your journey.

MFP is one of the best tools I have used and I have tried about everything out there. I love the support and motivations from these boards. Take it one day at a time don't let a slip up derail you everyday is a fresh start remember that. I used to get frustrated if I gave in and ate something I felt was "bad" on this plan you can eat what you like moderation is the key CI/CO approach and so far it has worked for me. Nice to have you. Good luck and congrats to you for wanting to be healthy. :)
