Much love to all the firefighters out there. You guys are working your a$ses off in California right now and we appreciate it more than you'll ever know!

There are whole towns being razed at this point. Most of the town of Middletown is gone. Cobb as well. Anyhow, thought these videos were crazy scary but nifty too. Don't ever want to get yourself in this situation. Here's the journey from Andrson Springs into Middletown.

I imagine this is what driving through hell would look like...

Wow that is just something else. I would be scared to death to be on that journey. I always feel so bad when I hear about these fires going on in California or anywhere of coarse. Thank God for all the firefighters and all their hard work for sure. Thanks for sharing these videos and helping us to be more thankful for them and for helping us to appreciate what we do have.

So many people have homemade signs and things along the road saying thanks to the firefighters and how amazing they are. They are working at an absolutely tiring pace.

Something like 10,000,000 acres have burned in CA this fire season.

I'm in Fresno. Things seem to be getting much better. 75 degrees here today and been intermittently raining the last couple of days. God bless all our firefighters.

It's been horribly smoky here, but today has a cool moist feel and possible rain. I'm about 2 hours from either fire. The Butte and Rough fires are the one that's been hazing us out the most, but the Valley fire is burning areas that are near and dear to my heart...and my fishing hole. Hoping the cooler weather will help them all out immensely.
