Fats Domino could be Blueberry Hill?
  • Common theme - these 3 songs are connected by a common theme. I provide the artists and you provide the songs for each. (Song #1 was sung by both artists with the 1st being the original version and the latter being the more popular version)

    Song #1 - Smiley Davis/Fats Domino
    Song #2 - Bob Dylan
    Song #3 - Tony Orlando

    Common theme is colors
However, I "researched" the accuracy of my song picks and found out I was wrong on #1 (and maybe I am on the other two as well :open_mouth: )
    #2-Tangled Up in Blue
    #3- Tie a Yellow Ribbon

Color was not the theme I had in mind (although your guesses DO fit your theme)...

    So I'm 100% wrong?
It's okay, I can handle the truth :#

It sounds worse when you say it like that so let's just say you're 0% correct, instead....
Still sounds kinda bad, sorry :(
    Anyway, here's clue #1:

    1. The theme is "it's customary to do this before entering a room, home, office or most doorways for that matter"

    Hope this helps!

Again, I needed to "research" #1
    #1- I Hear You Knocking

    #2- Knockin' On Heaven's Door
    #3- Knock Three Times

    Theme is knock(ing)

Let's see if someone else actually knows #1 :)

Well I know the song "I Hear You Knocking", but I wouldn't have come up with it.

    Mellow Yellow Submarine

    I think that's correct so here's a new one.

Carl Douglas + David Carradine = [song]

    @Mustang_Susie :smile:
    Liverpudlian
    [liv-er-puhd-lee-uh n] , noun, adjective:
Person or things from the town of Liverpool.
He still has his laddish liverpudlian wit, throwing back his head in a deep throaty laugh as a crowd of reporters joins in

I've seen them all and own them all. This is a pretty good movie. Worth seeing in the theater for sure.

It makes me think of Joe Cocker and Wham, but I can't put any songs with the clue.
