    Charlie brown
That's part of the answer. There are two blanks for the artist and then a song. The second blank isn't "Charlie Brown", but just Brown. I really should have added an "E".

    Stonewall BLANK + Charles M Shultz character "Charlie" BLANK + "e" / Fast Times = [artist/song]

    Jackson Browne is correct.

Fast Times.....as in the movie soundtrack. My daughter likes the song, but I doubt she's seen the movie. She's 20.

Assuming the above answer is correct, I will proceed with the next one:
3-way mash-up (see spoiler for definition). I'll provide the 3 artists (in order) and you have to provide the 3 connecting songs.
    Definition:
    Mashup: MA` sh * up: (n)
The would-be song if two artists mashed their titles together
    Example:
Artist: George Gerswin and Elvis =
Song: I can't give you anything but LOVE Me tender

    1. John Mellencamp
    2. Chic
    3. Foo Fighters

My first thought was "Philadelphia Freedom" for the song, but I don't think that pans out for the rest. Then I thought maybe "Hair" or "Memories" and "Cats", but that doesn't work out either. Thinking....

I heard this song on an AT40 countdown from 5/22/1971. It's the same song title, the same song, by two different artists, in the same countdown.

Yvonne Elliman + Helen Reddy = [two different versions of the same song in the same countdown]

    Correct.

I like the Helen Reddy version better.

Glee had a pretty good version.

I don't think she's better, but the Glee version is very good. I think Helen Reddy's voice is almost as good as Karen Carpenter's, and that's really good.
