Hudson Brothers is correct for the artist name. But incorrect song title. Guess again.

The Hudson Brothers had a variety or comedy show on in the 70s. It was similar to Sonny & Cher and The Glen Campbell Good Time Hour.

I had to do some research for this one, but it does sound familiar. I was pretty young then.

Correct. Catchy tune. They also had a Saturday morning kids program, 'The Hudson Brothers Razzle Dazzle Show,' Oh, the '70s!

Bill Hudson used to be married to Goldie Hawn, and is Kate Hudson's father

I heard this song today on an AT40 from 9/8/73.

King of the remakes also performed with his family / immature affection = [singer/song]

Casey said this song was sung by a couple men before, Tab Hunter and Sonny James, in 1957. The songs were #1 and #2 at the same time. Very odd.

I'm thinking Donny Osmond/Puppy Love? (also written by and originally recorded by Paul Anka...but that was after 1957) Don't know about Tab Hunter and Sonny James. And I never thought of Donny Osmond as "king of remakes'', so my guess is probably wrong

Donny Osmond -- BLANK Love is correct, but not Puppy.

Yeah, he's had at least 10 hits that were remakes. Pretty much every solo hit he had was a remake.

Correct. A bit of trivia: it was written by John Stewart, who also had a hit in 1979, with his song “Gold”, featuring backing vocals by Stevie Nicks. Deckerp, I’m sure you know the song.

I sure do know the song. He only had a few songs in the top 40.
