Weight lifting shoes - Sizing

Afternoon all,
I finally finished training for a long run and now I can move away from 6 days a week cardio to more strength work.
With that I need to get myself is a pair of shoes for weight lifting, as I currently only have running shoes and my gym requires you to wear something other than socks, on my feet.
When sizing up for lifting shoes do you do the same sort of thing as you would do for running, as in get 1 size bigger than your normal size or do you just stick to the normal size because there shouldn't be the swelling of feet as there is with running.
Cheers

Depends on the brand of shoe. Sizing varies so much from brand to brand. I have the Reebok TR Lites and they fit halfway between my dress shoe size and running shoe size.0

I have Reeboks too. I used the chat on their website to ask this question. The person suggested I get the same size as my running shoe. I did and they fit fine.0
