Hey guys! I'm starting p90x2 and I want to know what you all did. Did you stick to the plan, or did you change the work out line up?

You should def follow the designed workout structure for your first time through. It's systematically designed for maximum results. If after the first run through you want to do it again or do it as a hybrid with another program so it mixes things up that's fine. But I think you should do a legit run through the first time.

I should have mentioned, I've done this 4 x before, just seeing if anyone mixed up the disks ever, or only stuck to the plan0

Ahh in that case then do you own any other programs that you can make a hybrid with? There are a ton on Google of P90X mixed with Body Beast or T25 type hybrids.

^ The Beachbody site even offers so great hybrid plans and workout sheets for you.
And wow.. good for you if you made it through P90X2 4 times! That program is no joke.

I've never done p90x2, but I had heard that it was designed to be flexible, and that there was more then one disc progression routine that came with the documentation depending on what athletic goals you were after... maybe that's way off lol0

There are phases lol. But not too far off what you were thinking0 -
I stopped doing it entirely. Compared to P90, P90X, and P90X3..........P90X2 is boring. There's way too much emphasis on stretching. Almost the first 9-10 minutes of every workout is stretching, using the roller, etc.
I get that stretching is important, but you can do a stretch/cardio warm up, much like what Tony Horton did with P90X. Sorry, but by time the actual workout started in P90X2, I was already bored and frustrated by the lack of activity. Most often, I would just fast-forward through the stretch BS, but ultimately I just decided to avoid P90X2 altogether.0
