This page gives you some great visuals on what a 200 calorie portion of many different foods looks like.

This is great! Thanks0

That thing is useful. A bit surprised at the apple though, the entry I've been using says it's 100 calories for 130g or something... And I always thought that vinegar has no calories, lol. Mine says 0 calories a serving on the bottle. That's just odd.0

Depends on the vinegar -- mine vary a lot. None have 0, one of my balsamics has the most.0

That's interesting, but it varies so much. They show just over one hot dog for 200 calories. I can have four of mine and come in under 200.
This kind of stuff is always fun to check out, though. Thanks for sharing!0 -
My favorite part about this post is that there's not a single cup measurement in sight.0

Last night I had two large honeycrisp apples @292 grams weight, which was only 152 calories.

Well that's the thing, I used to use MFP's 'apple raw' entry until I started using the one specific to the apple I was eating and noticed a pretty big difference. I figured it was odd when I went to the store and the sign said that an apple was 100 calories in average... considering that when I logged it and used MFP's entry (the non starred one, at the time), it was maybe 65 calories for a pretty large one (and no I don't count the core weight).
Figured it's one of those MFP entries that isn't accurate. So now I look for the name of the apple and 'usda' and log that. I had a bad surprise when I started logging my Fuji apples, let's say, lol (my usual, Pink Ladies, seem to have less calories).
The avocado picture is odd to me too, a whole avocado typically seems closer to 250 calories for me.

The page title seesm wrong. It doesn't do a good job of showing what 200 calories of anything looks like since there is nothing in the pics for size reference.0
