my reward backfired

So I've lost 10% of my body mass and this puts me half way to being a "healthy weight". I was pretty excited and decided since it is summer and I spent so much time by/at the pool I would reward myself and get my legs waxed.
Great idea I thought - no more pesky shaving and I'll feel even more confident about my smaller body in a swim suit.
Wrong - all the really sensitive skin on my legs, like behind my knees and at the top of my thighs has reacted really badly to the wax and is really irritated - its worse when my skin is damp so now I'm afraid to do my gym routine as well as not feeling great in my swim suit :grumble:

I appreciate the commiseration! Thanks0

I had a bad reaction to wax as well, right before a beach vacation. Laid on the beach with a towel over my hideous bumpy, rashy legs. Use a super mild non-drying soap and slather with aloe gel.0

Thanks for the advice
I just feel a bit ripped off0
