Going on vacation tomorrow, tips?

Tomorrow I'm going on vacation with my family, we're going to California. We will be doing plenty of walking during the day, and swimming, plus the hotel has a gym I plan on using. I was thinking of having lighter options for breakfast and lunch, and then allowing myself to get what I want at dinner...does this sound like a good plan? Any other tips? I don't mind if I don't lose this week, I'm more concerned with just maintaining.

    I'd change "whatever I want" to "whatever I want within reason." Switch to maintenance mode and stick to moderate potion sizes, and you'll be fine. If you're going to be in CA, then there's loads of healthy restaurant options anywhere you go. Have fun!

    I think your plan is perfect. I try to keep my calories low for breakfast and lunch every day. We dine out a lot in the evening and it is very hard for me to eat light in a restaurant. It works for me, so hopefully it can for you as well.

    We are going to Sonoma wine country area next month. We are looking so forward to our trip.

    First, do what you can to keep logging your food, either on your laptop or on the mobile app on your cell phone. Second, don't sweat it too much. I just got back from vacation last night and didn't do too bad (although the exercise sucked). But didn't sweat it too much. Just try to make reasonably informed decisions and you shouldn't be too far off. And if you splurge, so what. It's vacation and treating yourself occasionally isn't bad.
