Taking any medication? How long after you exercise do you try to go to sleep?

General rule of thumb is to create a "winding down" routine. Turn off the lights, don't look at your phone or your computer, make sure the room is cool and make sure your bed is comfortable.

Low carb diets and just caloric restriction can lead to trouble sleeping. I can barely sleep when I'm deep in a cut.

Maybe you're depriving yourself of things you love, or pushing yourself too hard?

Make sure you eat as close to your calorie limit as you can, and eat back 50-75% of your exercise calories.

Make room for the things you love in your daily limit. And fuel your exercise burns. Exercise is for health and fitness... Your calorie limit already allows you to lose weight, so don't burn yourself out by not eating back what you earn on top of your allotted calories.

    Look after yourself. Best wishes.

if this is not a normal thing for you, try taking melatonin before you go to bed. it's a chemical your body produces naturally to help you fall asleep, and a small dose before bed can help you go to sleep and stay asleep.
or, try adding in writing in a journal (to clear your mind), doing some relaxation yoga before bed, a warm bath with lavender, etc.

    good luck!!!!

I guess the obvious solution is resolve what is causing the stress. Is it easily solved? Do what you can to deal with the stress...talking it out, walking it out, boxing or the like is good for stress....
