Yes, I started with the MFP preset Macros until I became more comfortable with it. You can make notes in the food section and see what days (Macro wise) were better. I find that if I eat high carbohydrate or low fat I can't seem to feel full. See what works for you.

Me too. I had to play around with my macros and I find that 30% carb 30% protein and 40% fat keeps me satisfied the most. But play around with them and see what works for you.

Just take your weight multiply .4 thats fat intake do the same at .8 for protein then fill the rest of your caloric goal with carbs.

Protein: 0.60-0.80 grams per pound of bodyweight (or target/ideal weight in the obese) -- the highest amount justified by research. If your sedentary or have a very low activity day-to-day, the range isn't this high, but it won't hurt to get at least 0.60 g/lb. either way.

Fat: 0.40-0.45 grams per pound of bodyweight (or target/ideal weight in the obese) -- the lowest amount implied by clinical observation.

Remaining caloric budget: whatever mix of macronutrients you prefer, notably a rich variety of fruits, veggies, high fiber foods, and healthy fats.
