I *think* I've made it ...


I wasn't going to do this, but I decided to anyway- I feel that I have finally earned my success story. I gained a lot of weight after a hefty battle with depression- taking antidepressants from 18 to just after my 21st birthday, and struggling to get anywhere in life. One day something snapped inside and I decided I had had enough of living without hope and made steps to turn it around. I re-enrolled at college and got distinctions in modules which gave me the confidence and positivity boost I needed to enrol at university and change my life around. After being accepted on the Hons course, I decided to do something about my weight.

I have been using my fitness pal for 444 days, and in that time have lost over 30lbs going from 11stone (lost a couple of lbs before using mfp) to my current weight of 8st 8. My initial goal weight was 8st exact, but with my new job being very physical and going to the gym I have toned up without losing that last 8lbs. I think I am finally happy with the way I look.
