Calories burned/intake while nursing

For my nursing Mommas out there.... is your your calories burned / calorie intake affected by nursing from what I understand when you are BF your calorie intake is higher but you're also burning calories from BF.....can that be indicated on this app?

    Nursing (exclusively) requires 300-500 calories per day. So, the simplest way to do this on this app, is to program it to eat at maintenance and breastfeeding will put you at a deficit. Obviously if you see you are losing too fast after a few weeks, add more calories.

    Ok thanks...no longer EBF...pumping & nursing....i may leave it as is.

    If you are mostly formula feeding, then you probably need to cut the calories for nursing. If you are still mostly feeding the baby breastmilk, I would still count at least 300 calories.
